If you really want to earn your beer, you can reach your destination by pedal boat. In any case stand-up paddleboarding opportunities, great food and lots of sunbathing areas directly by the water make this green idyll worth visiting.

Probably the smallest and coziest beer garden in Hamburg: the LüttLiv in Barmbek. The perfect place to meet and chat with friends over one or two beers. All meals are freshly prepared using only local products that sometimes even come from the very own herb garden.

In addition to a variety of traditional dishes, the beer garden Altes Mädchen near the rapid transit station Sternschanze provides you with the opportunity to meet with friends or family on a sunny day and enjoy a refreshing drink. The place offers a variety of beers including Zwickelbier, Rotbier and pale ale. Everything is freshly brewed in the Ratsherrn Brauerei, which you can see from the beer garden. There are even craft beer festivals taking place on a regular basis here. It’s worth stopping by!
